MICHAEL LANDY                          

I think that Michael Landy is a really strange artist. I don't understand his artistic style. it's a little bit confusing, his art performance didn't really excite me at all, its just throwing art in a bucket and having people look at it, and maybe thats the whole point, but it's not my cup of tea. I was actually a little sad, because I saw so many amazing art work that were thrown away that someone could probably recycle it for something else. What I actually enjoyed about his work is that they throw away the art that they "failed" at making, its like moving on from the past and can starting over with a new canvas, it's like taking a big baggage from your chest. other than that I didn't really like it,but in the video it seemed like he had a lot of people excited about the art bin. i didn't really enjoy his art, but then again as an artist m myself I know that there are people who don't like my art or understand it, art is abstract, if you enjoy it and makes you happy then go for it people are not supposed to understand every single thing. 

This is a picture of how it looks after throwing all the arts inside this huge bin, If I remember correctly Michael Landy said he likes how the items fall into each other.









<------- I really like this art of Michael Landy, I think it's beautiful it reminds me of angels. I like the vintage look to it, it also looks like a statue that has been slowly chipped away in the face.

I feel like some people, like catholics might get offended of this drawing. Only strict catholics though. because I'm Catholic and I'm defiantly not offended, well just a little bit, but I understand that it's art
