Kikyz1313

  •  Kikyz1313 is a Mexican Artist.
  • Born in 1988 in Queretaro,Mexico. This painting is so sad, the girl looks very bored and uncomfortable. it looks like the place that she was buried a tree grew there and she got let stuck in the roots or the trunk of the tree.
  • Kikyz1313 focuses on Death and Morality.
  • Through her art she shows the true discomfort of death.I like this painting because the first thing that caught my eye was the cat not until i really looked closely that i saw a dead human too. I really love the flowers and the butterfly and the colors make it look vintage.
  • Through her art she shows the deterioration of the human body.
  • She paints pale dead children and animals.

This image is really freaky and very uncomfortable, the death of children are the wort in my opinion, because its very sad that their lives are taking so soon and they will never know what they will become of them in the future.

  •  her work is neither despondent or gory.

I dont know whats going on here, i don't know wether they are cuddling or if she should be afraid of the cat.

  •  she received a BFA from the Universidad  Autonoma de Queretaro.
  • a first solo exhibition at the museo de la ciudad de Queretaro.

I'm confused. is the child and animal connected? and why is the child's eye open.

I wonder if they are sibling or are they twins and how did they die? its sad to see their toys.

what I like about this painting is the details that are in the back of the child. it's also creepy because of the eye balls in the center of the flower. I also find it really creepy that whatever is on her face and nose might be blood.

this one really affected me because I have a family member who passed away at a very young age. my mom had her first baby when she was 13, the baby was a girl and her name is Petronila (I'm named after her) my sister passed away when she was 8 months old and my parents were very poor and couldn't afford medicine and so my sister died.

  1. I really liked the pocturest chosen, they were all so beautiful. And I really think you got across how this artist works with emotions and stuff.

  2. You included a lot of detail, which was really cool. I didn't know about this artist until now. I was a bit distracted by the general layout and structure of your blog, though. It's a bit overwhelming.

  3. These are fucking beautiful! They remind me of the artist I posted about on my blog, but I honestly like this style just as much or even better.

  5. I enjoyed your comments about these pictures. I also enjoyed your honesty (surprise surprise) about the art. You included not only what you understood, but what confused you as well. This allowed me to think about certain details I wouldn't have otherwise.
