MAYAN SCULPTURE
- Ancient Maya art refers to the material arts of the Maya civilization
- Occurred during the seven centuries of the Classic Period (c. 200 to 900 CE).
- Traditional art forms have mainly survived in weaving and the design of peasant houses.
I really enjoyed seeing the first photo because of its coloring and shape along with detail I find it very interesting. I also enjoyed seeing the second photo with the sculpture next to the person, which really represented this type of art to me. ~Brigid
