Negative space, in art, is the space around and between the subject(s) of an image. Negative spacemay be most evident when the space around a subject, not the subject itself, forms an interesting or artistically relevant shape, and such space occasionally is used to artistic effect as the "real" subject of an image.

I really like how you showed the "reverse" negative space. Most pieces show the background being white and the actual art being in color. Your blog shows the background being a different color and the art piece being white. I find that really cool.

The stuff I did see though was really danging cool, there's a lot of diversity in the things you post and the pieces you choose from your artists. I do have a problem with the font though, but whatever it's not my blog so keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteI looooove the top two images, they're really stunning and more detailed than images I was finding while doing this blog so I really love the pictures you've provided as examples. Reading through your posts, you provide a lot of explanation and detail and that's really awesome because for some of the blogs I had trouble finding substantial information but you have done a really great job !
